UX Researcher: DTC Specialist

Role Overview:

As a UX researcher specializing in DTC, you will lead evaluative research, behavioral analytics, and performance metrics for our e-commerce clients. This role will be responsible for weekly and monthly reporting, implementing A/B testing, and collaborating with growth, account, and creative team leads to manage the roadmap for website features. This is a hands-on role that will be driving the success of our clients’ online business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. User Research and Insights:
    • Conduct research to understand user behavior, preferences, and pain points in the DTC space.

    • Develop a detailed understanding of user flows and journey maps for various use cases throughout the conversion funnel.

  2. A/B Testing Program:
    • Lead the development and implementation of a robust A/B testing program for our DTC clients.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing hypotheses, set KPIs, and execute experiments to optimize user experience and conversion rates.

  3. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate weekly and monthly reports on key website performance metrics and A/B testing outcomes.

    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to continuously improve DTC strategies.

  4. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with design, development, and strategy teams to integrate research findings into the ideation and execution phases of projects.

    • Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, aligning UX research efforts with overarching DTC strategies.

  5. Industry Trends:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform UX strategies and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in UX research, preferably in DTC and CPG.

  • Strong proficiency in A/B testing methodologies and tools.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Exceptional communication skills to convey research findings and recommendations effectively.

  • Experience with Shopify is preferred.

  • This is a remote position (US only)

Compensation

  • Between $80,000 - $115,000 annually based on role fit, prior work, and experience.
