For our summer retreat we decided to take on the white water rapids of the American River together. Not only did we live to tell the tale, we made some great memories along the way.

A Change in Scenery
We got to relax and unwind for the day together. Since we work in front of screens on a daily basis, it was nice to feel the sun and take in the breathtaking scenery around us. Activities like this allow us to connect on a deeper level as friends and coworkers.
Working Together
At the risk of turning everything into a metaphor, we’d be remiss not to say being on the raft reminded us that we’re all in the same boat together. When we hit the rapids, we worked with each other to communicate effectively and get to our next destination safely as one cohesive unit.
